Print job!
Okay, so this isn't course related but Myself and Zeke scored a job printing tees for Hotel Soho. The designs were all ready for us. We just had to tweak a few things to make them more print friendly. Was a fun experience and hopefully will help us get more jobs in future!

Introducing a flyer.
For this task we had to create a flyer which promoted an attraction in the city we live in. For me I chose MONA as it is of huge interest lately due to it's truly unique experience. The task called for us to create a map using illustrator and pen tool/paths. This map had to show directions to our attraction. Also there had to be some sort of text wrapping around an image on the flyer. This took me a while as I was being quite pedantic. But I'm happy with the result!
Tracing a map
In this task we had to recreate/re-draw the map of Tasmania which was given to us, by using the pen tool to create and learn how to use paths! The key things to do in this task were to create the island and outline, roads, towns, ocean and also show where elevation points were by using colour. This was one of the first times I have used Illustrator so I found it challenging, tedious, but mostly rewarding! We also had to create a texture pattern for the ocean.
Enjoy.
Enjoy.
Type Quotes.
We were given a selection of quotes to form a poster using only type. The reason for the task was to show that words have the ability to give off feeling and emotions which add meaning to designs.
This is the final product.

Design final assessment!
For the final assessment task there were two tasks. Part A consisted of created a contemporary design for the AGideas design conference. The flyer had to appeal to both students and designers alike. Part B was basically free design. The only restrictions were it must be a postcard and must show my representation of colour. Both designs answer to the problems and I'm quite proud of what I have accomplished.
Enjoy.

Anatomy of Type
Hey everyone!
It's been so long since I have posted!
This particular piece was one of my favorites as I enjoy working with type. The assignment was to create a poster using only type to give a brief showcase of the "Anatomy of Type."
Feedback/Comments would be appreciated!
